Beyond the Light
Category: Feature Documentary
Synopsis: When it comes to visual impairment, we are often led to think of something sad and limiting. But in BEYOND THE LIGHT (Dir. Yves Goulart), seven blind Brazilians (some now living in the United States) show us with great optimism, humor and boldness how they live a normal and productive life.
More than an example of overcoming and courage, BEYOND THE LIGHT is one of the rare films about disability that leaves you inspired, motivated and more informed about the real challenges that visually impaired people face on day-to-day basis.
